Beauty Tea Ritual

A Botanical Cup Made for Slowing Down

There is something naturally calming about making tea.

The water warms. The botanicals begin to steep. The color slowly deepens in the cup. And for a few minutes, there's nothing required of you except to wait, sip, and enjoy.

The Beauty Tea Ritual is less about what tea can do and more about what the ritual creates—a reason to slow down and enjoy a little time that belongs entirely to you.

Make It Your “Me Time”

Choose a beautiful cup or glass you love.

Put the kettle on and step away from everything else for a few minutes.

Let the tea steep without rushing it. Notice the color, the fragrance, the warmth of the cup in your hands.

Then find somewhere comfortable to sit and simply enjoy it.

Read a few pages of a book. Sit outside. Watch the sunset. Listen to music. Or do absolutely nothing at all.

Ten quiet minutes can be enough to make an ordinary afternoon or evening feel a little more special.

DIY Rose & Hibiscus Beauty Tea 🌿

This naturally caffeine-free botanical blend is floral, lightly tart, beautifully aromatic, and gorgeous in the cup.

You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon dried organic hibiscus

  • 1 teaspoon dried organic rose petals

  • 1 teaspoon dried organic chamomile flowers

  • ½ teaspoon dried organic lemon balm

  • Small piece of dried organic lemon or orange peel

To Make One Cup

Add approximately 1½ teaspoons of the blend to a tea infuser.

Pour 8–10 ounces of freshly boiled water over the botanicals and steep for 5–7 minutes.

Strain and enjoy warm.

For a softer flavor, add a little raw honey once the tea has cooled slightly.

Make a Jar for Later

Combine a larger batch of the dried botanicals and keep the mixture in an airtight glass jar away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

Then your Beauty Tea is ready whenever you decide you need a little time for yourself.

Make It Beautiful

Part of this ritual is simply enjoying the experience.

A clear glass cup lets you see the jewel-toned hibiscus.

A few rose petals make the blend feel special.

A beautiful teapot turns preparing it into something you look forward to.

Keep your favorite tea, cup, and infuser together and your little ritual becomes effortless.

Some days self-care can be wonderfully simple:

Make the tea.
Find a comfortable spot.
And give yourself a few minutes that are entirely your own.

Small rituals, done consistently, create lasting change.
